I want to buy Lenovo K900 mobile phone but I want to know if there are any problems or bugs in this phone? I would not like to buy this phone if it lags or have some serious issues. If someone who used lenovo K900 could leave review about it, would be great.

Actually, there are lot of problems with Lenovo K900. People who have bought this phone are complaining all over on forums about the problems they are facing with this phone.

The main problem which users are facing with this phone is heating issue. Since the body of the phone is made of metal, it easily gets heated while playing games or charging the phone. For few users, phone gets heated even when taking photos or recording videos. A user reported that phone gets heated mostly at the upper side where Lenovo’s logo is located and using a phone cover helped him in solving the problem to an extent.

Another problem faced by Lenovo K900 users is the battery issues. For some battery drains very quickly and for some, the status of the battery level indicates wrongly, which means even if the battery is drained, phone keep showing 100% battery remaining.

This is really a good phone, designed beautifully and got good specs too. But Lenovo will have to do something about these problems. I think they can roll a firmware update to address these issues.

I bought Lenovo K900 2 weeks back. It is a good phone. It looks different than all those cheap plastic phones in this range. Yes, the heating problem is true but it’s not much, just like a normal metal phone. I think that’s the price you have to pay for having a metal body phone, they get heated little bit. Even high end phones like HTC One and iPhone also have this problem so Lenovo can’t do much about it.

Overall, it’s a great phone, I would suggest you to go for it.

The heat is not much of a problem. Since it has a metal casing at the back and a dual-core CPU, it is understandable to reach high temperatures especially when a few or a lot of apps are using up the CPU. The good thing about the metal cover is it also cools down quickly.

The only problem I’m having is the battery. It’s got a short battery life and the battery monitor seems to get screwed up. It indicates that I have 100% all the time and never drains when in fact the battery itself still drains normally. This seems to get fixed when you drain the battery then recharge it. The problem still repeats however.
