I have  a lenovo Android smartphone and I want to take a screenshot on it. How can I accomplish this task easily? There is an app in the play store for taking screenshots, but is there any way to do it without installing apps?

Lenovo has launched many phones in K, S, P and A series. You didn’t mentioned which model you own but I hope the method I’m going to provide will work on all Lenovo Android phones.

If your phone is running on Android ICS (4.0) or above, then just follow this method:

    - Move to the screen that you want to capture.
    - Now look for the volume down key and power key on your phone.
    - Press and hold both keys for 2 seconds.
    - You will hear camera shutter sound, screen will flash and message saying screenshot is saved will be visible on your screen.

Now simply head over to your images gallery to find the screenshot you just took. This method also works for Lenovo tablets like S2110 and few from Ideapad series. Just try and let me know if it worked for you or not.

If your Lenovo phone is running Android version below 4.0, then you’ll need to install apps from the play store, because old Android versions do not have the support for in built screenshot feature.
